The Tilted Kiln is a family owned and operated Pottery Studio and supply store, as well as a Ceramic Shop in Saint George, UT. We have been in business here since 2010 and changed our name to The Tilted Kiln on January 1st, 2017. We continue to grow and do all we can to serve the Southern Utah/Nevada region and get the supplies needed to all our artists. We have now split our business into two amazing location in St George. The Pottery Studio is where you can come and use a potter's wheel or hand build with clay and buy supplies. The Ceramics Shop is our Paint Your Own Ceramics shop where you can purchase a precast piece of bisque and glaze it tom have fired and picked up after a few days.

Joe and Emilie have owned The Tilted Kiln since June 2015. Joe was previously a high school teacher for 9 years and taught Ceramics and Art at Enterprise High School. He has also taught at Valley Academy Charter School teaching Ceramics Electives. Emilie has worked at SkyWest, Dixie Regional Medical Center, and Costco over the years, and now uses her talents at Dixie Convention Center as the Sales Manager and Assistant GM.

Our children are beginning their journey into the working world and have joined us in our family business as customer service workers and amazing helpers. Tessa and Orianna are helping at the Ceramics Shop and have had experience at the Pottery Studio as well.

We strive to maintain a great environment for anyone to come in and paint their own ceramics or work in a great pottery studio. We have potter's wheels, hand building areas, glazing, and equipment repair in our pottery studio. We also have a new shop for painting your own precast piece of ceramics.
